ASMADESIGN

Company

The house

A small German workshop with an outsized reputation for finish.

An ASMA Design Mercedes-Benz CLS

ASMA Design has spent more than two decades turning production cars into one-off commissions. The house made its name with a run of dark, wide-bodied saloons that drew crowds at every show they appeared at, and it has kept to the same principle ever since.

The workshop is deliberately small. A car may spend months on the ramp while its body is reworked panel by panel, its cabin stripped and retrimmed, its stance settled over a bespoke set of wheels. That pace is the point. It is what allows every surface to be finished to the standard the marque set, and then a little beyond it.

Clients come from across Europe and the Gulf, and they come for the same reason: a car that is unmistakably theirs, yet still unmistakably the marque underneath.

How we work

By hand

No line, no batch. Each car is built by the same craftsmen from first sketch to final polish.

To brief

The owner sets the character of the car. We translate it into metal, leather and light.

Without compromise

A commission leaves the workshop when it is right, and not a day before.
